Things I’m asked: Do I need a CRM?
This is by far the most frequent question I get asked. CRM – Customer Relationship Management is about streamlining your sales process so you don’t miss out on opportunities. It’s also about having all your customer information in one place so that you can give them excellent service and keep their valued business.
It doesn’t matter if you are a one person band or have a team of 150 every business needs to bring sales in, stay in touch with them and keep their business, so yes you do need a CRM. The key thing isn’t the technology it’s about habit. If you get into a CRM habit i.e. stay focused on what your next thing to do is to move this opportunity to the next stage and log that “next thing” in whichever CRM app you use, then you are on to a winning CRM habit.
Is it expensive? No. The trick is to pick the app that works for you at the price you want to pay.
